As much as we plan our day, not everything runs on schedule. Whether it’s waiting for curbside pickup, sitting in the carline, or waiting at the doctor’s office, sometimes we’re bound to sit and wait. I dislike mindlessly fidgeting with my phone, so when I’m not listening to a podcast and taking notes on my phone, I reach for my doodle pad. Lately, I’ve been exploring inking with Micron pens, letting simple shapes evolve into beautiful abstract designs.
Next time you’re waiting, I encourage you to reach for a journal or a sketchpad instead of your phone. Let the ink flow and guide you on a creative journey. It’s a far more peaceful way to pass the time.
